‘Several initiatives taken to encourage startup companies’

IT and Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday launched the AP chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO), a peer to peer network of entrepreneurs.

On the occasion, the Minister said that the government set a target of becoming trillion dollar economy and took many initiatives to encourage startup companies and allocated ₹100 crore for the same. Fancy offices were not required for development of startup companies. The government established falcon X accelerator onlines of US model. The EO has to conduct global events in AP, he said.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s first startup was Cyberabad.

Andhra 2.0 was his second startup post bifurcation, he said.
